Here’s the latest Colin Munroe jam entitled “I’m Fine”. This dude’s resume speaks for itself, having worked with the finest in hip_hop including Mr. West himself. I personally am diggin’ on the Citizen Cope vibe that the kid brings. Hit the jump below for the track.

Rick Ross x John Legend

When John Legend hops on a track expect the beat to be pristine. The latest Rick Ross cut, “Magnificent”, is no exception. Perfect to couple with a bottle of Cabernet for a dinner with the Missis, this track has it all. Rick Ross came with it, period.

Penfield Gingham

Innovative brand Penfield is at it again with this gingham hooded button down. I am really feeling the button details on the collar/hood because it makes the piece so versatile. You can buy the shirt a size bigger than usual and wear it over your gear, or tight enough to make it a staple in your spring wardrobe. Either way this is a necessary addition to your repertoire. Check it out here, along with the rest of the Penfield Spring Gingham line.

Introducing Grynch

grynch

Ladies and gentlemen of FunkSole nation, allow me to introduce Grynch. A natural lyricist representing Seattle, this dude’s flow is ridiculous. The cats at 2DopeBoyz dropped this track earlier today and we couldn’t help but to jump on it. Enjoy “It’s Go Time”, and we will be sure to update with more mixtape tracks as soon as possible. Stay friyesh.

Pharrell Williams has been spotted sporting a brand new pair of crocodile SpongeBob-inspired steps. The shoes are A Bathing Ape’s classic design, The Bapesta. Complete with a gum rubber sole, these kicks scream exclusivity, vibrance and class. It has not yet surfaced whether they are custom Pharrell joints; but here’s to hoping they are released to the general public in the coming months. Peep Pharrell’s croc’ luggage as well.

Wale & Colin Munroe

January 27, 2009 - Leave a Response

Stumbled across a preview for Wale and Colin Munroe’s collaborative effort for the remix of “Will I”. The beat is what most intrigues me, and I am really looking forward to hearing the full cut when it drops. We will be sure to keep you in the loop as the track progresses. In the mean time head to iTunes to add some Wale to your library — dude is dope.

street-shots-paris-fashion-week-09-1

The biggest news of the last few weeks comes to us from Paris, where fashion week has just concluded. Kanye West’s collaboration with Marc Jacobs was, in a word, superlative. The two have designed a shoe for Louis Vuitton that achieves a certain intertwining of classic tennis style and current hipster gumption. The video tells the story, as Mr. West addresses us from his hotel room across the pond. Featuring a much anticipated back tab (designed to keep pants above your kicks) the steps are available in three colorways: red, black and white. Are they worth the six hundred dollar price tag? That’s up to you…

Adidas gives us an early Christmas with this premature release for the vibrant Adidas ZX 9000. The yellow and purple makes for a retro-inspired look, while the nylon tongue offers a more modernized influence. Though the kicks are not yet available at any American retailers, check out German site Overkill and be the first to grab a pair. A perfect Christmas gift for yourself. After all, what are you going to rock to your New Year’s Eve jumpoff?
